The Experience consists of three parts:
1 – Briefing
Before diving, I will explain the essentials: equipment use, breathing techniques underwater, key diving skills, and safety rules. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions to ensure you feel comfortable.
2 – First UnderWater Breath in a controlled environment
We will begin at the famous White Beach in Boracay, right in front of our dive center. You will get acquainted with the equipment in shallow water, where I will guide you step by step to help you feel confident.
You will practice essential skills for your comfort and safety during the dive:
- Underwater breathing techniques
- Purge and Regain of the regulator
- Clearing your mask if water enters
- Hand signals for underwater communication
- Basic buoyancy control
These skills will prepare you for your first open-water dive in optimal conditions.
3 – Dive at a coral reef site
Once you’re comfortable with the equipment and basic skills in a controlled environment, we will head out for a real dive in the crystal-clear waters of Boracay. Under my supervision as a PADI instructor, you will dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters, discovering the local marine life and coral reefs.
This step is the culmination of your Discover Scuba Diving experience, a unique adventure that will leave you with unforgettable memories.
